A bank wide complete IT infrastructure solution including IBM BladeCenter data center with 90 blades and Disaster Recovery solution for the core banking system based on the latest technologies from IBM using IBM System i5 and IBM System storage. The Solution consists of two IBM System i5 i570 enterprise servers with booting from SAN feature, Two IBM DS8100 (Code Name: Shark) each with 3.5TB Fiber Storage Capacity & Global Mirroring function, two IBM System storage automated libraries 3310 with 6 LTO3 fiber tape drives with partitioning feature for remote off-site/online backup and Cisco FCIP MDS switches for replication over WAN. An online replication for data is configured to achieve RTO "Recovery Time Objective" of min 15min to 2 hours max. In addition to the above infrastructure, a CITRIX farmer is implemented for 750 concurrent users enabling the branch wide network of users to run applications hosted centrally in the data center. The Citrix Solution is integrated with an IBM Portal Based Solution that provides for a single point of contact for customers into the bank portal that provides personalized secure access with single-sign-on SSO to bank users to their eligible services. An Enterprise Monitoring Solution from Tivoli provides monitoring services to the total solution infrastructure.
